The Ink Lab Studio Policy

The Ink Lab operates by appointment only. We have great respect for our clients and artist time, we kindly ask you to follow our policies and terms of service. For all new appointments, we hold a card on file for our cancellation policy. You must agree to this policy upon booking your appointment. Your card will not be charged at all to schedule the appointment, it is only held on file and will only be charged if your appointment isn’t cancelled at least 48 hours before the start of your scheduled appointment.

LATE POLICY: Please familiarize yourself with our location and prepare yourself for traffic. We know sometimes things can happen so plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early to avoid being late. Give yourself plenty of time for the length of your appointment. Out of respect for everyone's time we have a strict no-tolerance policy for late arrivals. Over 15 minutes late arrivals will be a no-show. If your appointment is complimentary, then your subsequent appointment will no longer be complimentary.

CANCELLATIONS/ RESCHEDULING POLICY: Please allow at least 48 hours notice when rescheduling or cancelling your appointment. A cancellation fee of 50% of the service booked will be charged in the event that your appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of the start time of your appointment. 

APPOINTMENT/ CONSULTATION POLICY: A consultation is not required as an additional appointment separately from your initial appointment. We dedicate the beginning of each appointment to our consultation time. However, if for any reason, at the time of your appointment, your procedure does not follow through, you will be charged the price of a cancellation fee.

GUESTS POLICY: Due to the nature and attention to detailed treatments we provide, we kindly request that you do not bring children, and/or pets to accompany you into the studio. Service dogs are allowed with their ID card.

COMPLIMENTARY SESSIONS: Initial procedure appointments receive a complimentary touch up. This appointment must be scheduled between 6 to 8 weeks following your first session. Complimentary touch up are not mandatory, nor is it necessary for every client, but we offer it for those clients who would need a follow up. Healing can be unpredictable. If additional touch-up appointment is needed, a $100 fee will apply.

FUTURE TOUCH UPS FOR RETURN CLIENTS: If you are a returning client of ours and you need to schedule a touch up appointment, please schedule online at www.theinklabbuffalo.com or by calling us at 716-671-8011 It is important to not get touch ups too early. If you are unsure if your brows or lips are ready for a touch up, feel free to send us a photo so we can give you our professional opinion.

WAITLIST: We always recommend to book an appointment to reserve your time with your preferred artist. However, we do have a waitlist available for each artist, this list is to serve the need for clients who want an earlier appointment time than they already reserved. When an appointment time opens up, we contact from top to bottom of the list and the first to confirm will be booked.

EXISTING BROW TATTOOS: We are extremely selective when working over existing tattoos and other tattoo artists' work. If you have had your eyebrows or lips previously tattooed, we request that you email us clear photos of your brows for approval. After sending your photos, please give us 1-3 business days for us to get back to you. If for any reason you schedule an appointment without approval from our team, and we are unable to work over your existing tattoo, the cancellation fee will be charged.

GRATUITIES: Gratuities are welcomed.

IMPORTANT FOR ALL CLIENTS: Microblading and all permanent cosmetics are considered a multiple-step appointment process. Healed results will vary with each individual client. NO guarantees will be made. Additional sessions (at an additional charge) may be required to obtain optimal desired results. Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, many factors can result in a less then desired outcome as each client will heal differently. In order for your new brows to heal properly (and look their very best) please follow all Pre-Appointment Restrictions and After Care! These instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessive bleeding during the procedure can dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results.
